about Tina B
I know kids can be cruel, but when they said they thought my daughter Noel was a Zombie, I knew I had to do somthing about it.
I realized Disability Inclusion Education was something I needed to start teaching
"I don’t know motherhood without feeding tubes and trials. They have been a blessing and a source of heartache on this journey. With each new tube and trial I have had to grow and learn in more ways than I could have imagined.”
With every new medical device and trial I have felt like the rug got pulled out from under me; and yet some how I figured out how to find my footing again. You know that saying... “waiting for the other shoe to drop?” That’s kinda the state I have been in over the last 14 years of my daughters life. Some days when the shoe dropped it felt like it was a size 14 Nike high top that Shaq would wear; other days it’s felt like the delicate slipper of a ballerina; the ballerina days are what have helped get through the Shaq kinda days. I’m Tina B and
I am the mama of a medical complex daughter who is diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy.
I call myself a disability inclusion educator (it’s a fancy title I made up! My husband loves to laugh about the fact that I just created this position and I’m totally rocking it!)
But for real my goal and hope is to educate parents, students and teacher on how they can be more disability inclusive. I do this through speaking engagements, classroom presentations, here on Instagram and over on TikTok.
what we do

Disability Inclusion and identifies the bias that may get in the way of inclusion.
DIVERSITY AND DISABILITY INCLUSION TRAINING
If it’s an inspirational keynote or an educational work shop you need, I will provide value and tools to leave your audience ready to make changes. I speak to employees, teachers and students about awareness of the importance of working together with people from different backgrounds, cultures and beliefs. Our program specifically targets Disability Inclusion and identifies the bias that may get in the way of inclusion.
DISABILITY INCLUSIVE BOOK BOX:
There needs to be more disability inclusive books available for children to read. Our disability-inclusive book box program will fix this. Our goal is to provide access to disability inclusive books in all classrooms and libraires. When you purchase one book box, containing two beautifully written inclusive books; another box gets donated in your honor to a classroom or library of your choice. It’s the Book Box that actually gives back!
